Ramon Monsivaiz has been a youth soccer coach in North Texas since 1998. He has coached in the following soccer associations MSA, Plano Premier, CSAI, Indoor, and Futsal soccer leagues. During his youth, he participated in youth club soccer. Ramon is also a member of the US Youth Soccer Association. He has represented North Texas Soccer as a grade 8 licensed referee for the last eight years, he is also a High School Referee (TASO). He currently holds a National USSF “D” coaching licenses. He has been married for 19 years and has one son currently playing in division two in the classic league. Ramon and his wife have been heavily involved in the community as foster parents for the past 5 years.
His coaching philosophy is to continuously challenge the players/team to improve physically, mentally along with their technical and tactical skills. Players are expected to respect their teammates, opponent, coaches, referees, parents, and the game of soccer in general. Developing players for high school and college soccer is an important goal, however developing responsible and well balanced individuals is just as important. He understands and respects players who wish to participate in other activities in addition to club soccer.
